Mona Shindy Foundation Inc

The purpose for which the Association is established is to relieve poverty experienced by people (pursuing or seeking to pursue primary, secondary or tertiary education) and/or the unique disadvantages experienced by these people when impacted by Islamophobia.

 

 It intends to obtain and then maintain :

 

• registration as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC); and

• status as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR)

 

(2) Mona Shindy Foundation Inc relieves poverty experienced by people (pursuing or seeking to pursue primary, secondary or tertiary education) and/or the unique disadvantages experienced by these people when impacted by Islamophobia by:

 

• Providing grants, scholarships, IT Equipment for education support 

• Mentoring/Speeches (by relatable and successful role models) that educate target individuals on how to get help, develop coping mechanisms to counter the impacts of Islamophobia and that inspire hope and belief in self; and

• Advocacy to gain commitment from governments and other entities and people to contribute to funding that is used directly to improve the life outcomes of the target beneficiaries.
